PCI Choice

Many patients with stable angina undergo percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) expecting it is life saving (Rothber et al). While PCI can improve symptoms related to stable coronary disease, evidence does not support any impact on heart attack risk or on death. The PCI Choice decision aid displays the benefits and risks of PCI compared to optimal medical therapy for the management of stable angina.
