The Knowledge and Evaluation Research (KER) Unit focuses on discovery, translation, and dissemination of health services research for patients and society.
KNOWLEDGE SYNTHESIS RESEARCH:
Conducting systematic reviews and subsequent meta-analyses, and understanding how knowledge gets produced and diffused.
SHARED DECISION MAKING:
Drawing on user-centered design to create conversation tools for patients and clinicians to use together to make treatment choices in line with patient values and preferences.
MINIMALLY DISRUPTIVE MEDICINE:
Working across health care delivery to pursue patient goals with the least possible health care footprint on their lives.
DISSEMINATION & IMPLEMENTATION RESEARCH:
Seeking to understand evidence-based methods to imbed the best patient-centered care nationally and internationally across networks.
